We have just taken ownership of Towpath Landing, a 50+ acre peninsula featuring 18 riverfront cabins that were in dire need of restoration. Our goal is to save this property from being turned into 200 condos, and we are thrilled to be starting this project. Each cabin has its own unique character, and the property sits adjacent to the Vischer Ferry Preserve with a bike trail entrance located at the front of the property.


This is a huge undertaking, and we are excited to be embarking on our first season as owners. We are confident that, with time, this property will become a true gem and a popular destination for weddings and events. We are absolutely in love with how gorgeous this property is, and we cannot wait to share it with others. You can expect to see a variety of wildlife, including bald eagles, turtles, hawks, deer, and more.


One of our favorite spots nearby is a quaint tavern restaurant called Klamm'r, located just down the road from us. The food is absolutely delicious, and the best part is that you can kayak right up to the restaurant from the river! There is also a sandbar island across from us that is perfect for kayaking, swimming, and relaxing. Boats frequently pull up and hang out there, creating a fun and lively atmosphere.


This property is steeped in history, as the back of the property is the original Erie Canal. There used to be a barn here that housed the horses that pulled the packet boats, adding to the property's charm and character. We are excited to continue learning more about its history as we work to restore and enhance this beautiful piece of land.
